#SeasonsOfKidLit's First Annual Trick-or-Treat Event - 2022!

Hi, parents, librarians, book fanatics, writers, and readers of all sorts...not to mention goblins, zombies, and ghouls, too! I'm here to share the official rules and event calendar for #SeasonsOfKidLit's First Annual Trick-Or-Treat Event! This month, the #SeasonsOfKidLit blog will be filled with fall-themed book recommendations, not to mention interviews from authors, illustrators, publishers, and literary agents. PLUS, there are fun Tricks and tons of Treats up for grabs, including book giveaways for avid readers, and critique giveaways, a skip-the-slushpile pass, zoom consultations, and more for inspiring writers. The event kicks off on September 30th with literary agent Kaitlyn Sanchez! So, make sure to subscribe and join in the spooky and seasonal fun...if you dare, that is. ;)

Official Rules:

For the entire 31 days in October (plus a BONUS interview starting a day earlier on September 30th!) a special guest will be featured on the #SeasonsOfKidLit blog. Make sure to read the fun and inspiring interview from the guest of the day.

At the end of each blogpost, the guest will offer a Trick (a writing, querying, or illustrator tip etc.) or a Treat (a book, original artwork, a zoom critique/consultation, skip-the-slushpile pass etc.) for the readers. To enter, you must comment on the blog post and follow the rules of the giveaway.

On or about November 4th, a raffle will be held and the giveaway winners will be announced!

The following terror-iffic treats are up for grabs:

A note from Heather Macht, the coordinator:

I hope you all enjoy this fun event just as much as I did when organizing it.

Also, the HUGEST round of applause for all the amazing creators who offered their advice and time, and Tricks and Treats, too. Because of them, this literary version of Trick-or-Treat is possible!

Now, it's time for the Spooky-Filled Fun to begin. Only four more days to go!
