Updated: Jan 2, 2023

#SeasonsOfKidLit is a new blog created by KidLit author Heather Macht that celebrates seasonal and holiday-themed Board Books, Picture Books, Chapter Books, Middle Grade Books, and Graphic Novels. The new blog, which will be perfect for parents, librarians, book fanatics, writers, and readers of all sorts!, will open on October 1st. To celebrate the opening, #SeasonsOfKidlit is inviting authors, illustrators, agents, and editors in the #KidLit community to be featured on the blog/Trick or Treat and join in on the fun!

What will the blog posts contain?

Special Guests featured during the month of October will be asked 5 questions about them, their fall-themed book, the editing process/writing process, etc.

Time to Trick or Treat!

At the end of each post, the guest will be asked to leave a Trick or a Treat for the readers.

Trick = a Fun #KidLit Tip or Tidbit for the readers (i.e., it could be a look at how they edit or format a MS, query tips, a fun fact or deleted scene from the book, etc.).

Treat = A treat could be any treat you'd like to offer (i.e., a critique of a MS, query letter critique, copy of your book or book merch., skip-the-slush-pile pass, etc.).

Thanks for visiting and make sure to subscribe for exclusive updates!
